FSSSL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE TURKISH CITY OF KAS

Since 1993 the Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival promotes Mediterranean music and artists, in more then 30 cities in 10 different Mediterranean and lusofono countries. For the first time this year Turkey, one of the most important country in the Mediterraneo , will be part of the festivals’ network. In particular on May 3rd and 4th 2019, with the support of the touristic office and the governorate of Kas , the Sete Sois Sete Luas Festival will have his first Turkish edition in Kas.

For the opening, during the morning of May 3rd, will take place an art workshop organized for the childrens of the primary schools. In the evening, folk music concerts with Özde Sarısözen Semint & Serkan Semint Group , Görkem Şen , Mediterranean Blue and Lycian Sun. Afterwards, at 9 PM, surrounded by the magic atmosphere of the Kas theatre, Ines Linares will be the protagonist of a fabulous Fado concert.

Ines Linares is a talented and young Portuguese singer, already with important successes, like in the Festival de Fado do Alto Alentejo competition where she gets the second place, and with international concerts in France and Spain under her belt. The festival will continue on May 4th with the artists Olça Tansuk and Demet Orbay who, accompanied by live music, will create a mural. Afterwards it will be possible to listen to the concert by the harpist Meriç Dönük and at 9 PM Aylin Aslım & the Concert Orchestra will delight the public with their music.
